Democrats minimize Palin at their own peril -
10/03/2008
If Democrats believe what they are saying about Sarah Palin after her debate with Joe Biden, and if they act upon those ideas, they do so at their own peril.
Palin’s performance in St. Louis (where I grew up within a mile of Washington University), was exceptional, given her background and her previous appearances with Katie [...]

Dear fellow Older American -
09/15/2008
I’ll bet you are a lot like me. I have eight wonderful and healthy grandchildren who give me great joy. My three children are happy and successful parents, aunts and uncle.
Except for the fact that I lost my wife to a stroke a year ago, all-in-all life for me and my family is just fine.
But [...]

Republicans are excellent liars! -
09/10/2008
Let’s be honest! Republicans are excellent liars! Their facts may at times be accurate or about just one individual or event, but their use of those facts, usually about another subject, ends up making Republicans liars and their statements untrue.
Let’s face the facts! Republican statements or claims are often just not true. They are lies! [...]

Welcome
to The Plessner Chronicle —
The improved website for
geraldplessner.com!
When I was a young teenager in St. Louis I sold newspapers on
a busy street corner. That’s where I began my habit of reading
three newspapers every day. (Of course I had the example of my
dad and grandfather who both did the same thing.)
Given the trouble that newspapers are having today competing
with the Internet, I thought it appropriate that we give our website
a newspaper-like name. I wanted to have columns like a newspaper
but my website designer Kathy
Hernandez told me that wouldn’t
be possible.
“Let me take care of that and we’ll see if you like
it”, she said.
Well I do like it and I am very proud of her work. We are going
to make The Plessner Chronicle as current as possible. There will
be a Blog built around my weekly articles, links to like-minded
sites, opportunities for readers to write expanded comments about
specific issues, a whole section with my Crooks,
Creeps and Criminals profiles and a commerce page for when I finely write a book.
There will be a number of additions to the new look over the
next few weeks but for now, please use the link below to go to
the Blog for this week’s commentary, “THE DISASTER-PER-WEEK
PRESIDENT.”
And do let me know what you think!
